Starving in the lost river, what do?

I'm in the lost river with my PRAWN suit, and because I'm an idiot and didn't bring any food with me, I'm going to starve to death. I also can't get my suit up a large toxic mist waterfall because I don't have the grappling arm (which is because I haven't found the veichle modification station yet). What's the best thing for me to do in this situation?

You do not need the grappling arm to escape or go further. The entire game can be traveled through using the standard boosting.

To fix starvation, there must be some small fishies that you can capture or instantly cook using the thermoblade. This will help if you do not have a station set up.

Go through the deep grand reef entrance, leave your prawn in a safe place and seaglide up.

u could eat raw spinefish but it will decrease ur water by one..

I think there are gel sacs down there too which give a small amount of water and food.

Assuming no knife upgrade here or you wouldn't have a problem. Eat the small fish and gel sacks raw for the food and h2o making slow and steady progress. You don't need the grappling hook to get out, there's more than one entrance.

If you do have the knife upgrade there's no problem, just insta-cook the little fish.
