Kyanite??????

So i have a seamoth, cyclops, and prawn suit but i need to upgrade the depth for the cyclops and the prawn suit. it says i need kyanite to upgrade the pressure compensater but from what i read i need to go to the ILZ but i cant go down there because my depth doesnt go that deep. How am i supposed to get kyanite if it is farther down than i can go? or am i just making a dumb mistake and i can find it somewhere else.

The Upgrades till 1300 for Prawn/Cyclops dont require Kyanite. So you can get it in the inactive zone with no problem.

You don't need kyanite for the PRAWN suit depth upgrade mk1. With the mk1 upgrade you can go as deep as 1300 meters. That's enough to go everywhere in the inactive lava zone and almost enough to reach the lava lakes.
