Koosh Zone lava entrance?

I could swear i'm near a special underground hot area in the koosh zone. Or an entrance any way but I can't quite put my finger on it because i've never been down there... even in early access.

Can any one give me a tip please?

There is a thermal vent in the Koosh Zone, near one of the life pods and a wreck. I think there are some nearby caves, but none that lead down to the lava zones.

Or... Spoiler alert:
There is a teleporter to the PCF somewhere around there too, but that wouldn't read as hot.

There used to be a way down to the lava zones, not far from the front of the Aurora, but I believe they took that out, and it was originally only in to allow access for testing.

I was chasing a shadow then, I better go all teh way back and find this famous river instead.

There's a tunnel down to the lava zone and the lost river nearby that pod. Can't remember which direction but it is to the diagonally right of the arch (behind you is the vent.)

You can go straight down from the koosh zone to a part of the lost river that takes you straight to the lava castle, its near the edge of the map.
