Logitech F710 problems
I did not find a solution for the controls of the game. The F 710 works, but the assignment of the buttons is very bad. the stick to look is not left right but upside down. Due to the fact that i play with the vive i need a controler. Right now i play with vive controlers in combinaton with the F710. Please help me.

I also I had problems with the F710. But it's more fault with the controller, as other games struggle with even letting you use it at all. Get a regular 360 controller that's PC compatible. You will thank yourself later for doing so. :)

I can't say. I never used a PS4 controller. Sorry :/

Well, this controller is definitely not good for steering a submarine.

I replaced my f710 with an xbox controller because it cuts out and I kept crashing the cyclops. Not an OceanGate joke.

The F310 has a feature for that. A switch where you can tell it to mimic some X-box controller for better compatibility. I don't know why they discontinued that feature for the F710.

Just gonna throw this in here: while using a usb gamepad designed for in home use is not a good idea for use in a deep sea submarine, it is highly unlikely that played a role in its sinking. The event occurred mid-descent. Nothing to crash into, target depth not reached yet. What is likely to play a role in its sinking was the same design philosophy that put the gamepad in there in the first place.

It is a piece of the puzzle, correct. Death by a hundred cuts.

Also, them all crowding to the front of the Titan, where the viewing bubble is, caused the sub to pitch forward and increased its descent even further. Tragic, you almost wonder if they had kept calm, not paniced, and not tipped the sub by all bunching up on one side, if they could have possibly survived and made it through an agonizing ascent back to the surface.

(This is info I picked up on recently, hence the soft necro)

Whilst that would decrease the downwards drag, there are other factors like whichever direction the dive thrusters are pointing, what is the buoyancy like, and the fact that the sub wasn't new or unused.

But I'm guessing it may have been hull microfractures from repeated use, so some bias there.
