[[SPOILERSSSSS]] okay how do you get inside the Aurora?
Legitimately, every time I try the huge Reaper Leviathans just show up and kill me. I've tried to stay near the surface but they always get me. I cannot kill them no matter what (makes sense).

I also cannot find any entry point. There is a part on fire near the front end of the ship, but that entrance seems to be blocked by rubble that I cannot move or get through.

Legit am I just trying to do this part too early? I have a seamoth, a laser cutter thing, a repair tool, and a survival knife of course. I was told this is all I need but I seem to be missing something. It's really starting to annoy me because I just wanna fix the ship LOL.

Thank you!

Approach the front from the surface side? And still get killed by the reaper?

Two possible entry point, above and the blocked one you found. From above you would need a laser cutter to traverse the ship. You need a propulsion gun to clear the blocked entry. Bring an extra extinguisher with you.

You don't need a propulsion gun. You can jump the boxes.

Probably don't need the laser cutter too if the goal is just to repair the reactors. Can't really remember.

Approach from the left side, no reapers there. Swim into exploded part near front(do not go to the very front of the ship, as there`s a reaper there) and climb on to the part just above water - you will fiund entrance there.
Bring repair gun, laser cutter, fire extinguisher and some food.(You will find some supplies inside, so not too much preparation is needed)

You can follow the shallow ridge from the starting area all the way to the portside hull of the Aurora, never going into deep water. You can then hug the hull and proceed forward a ways still in the shallows but it will drop off eventually exposing you deep water for about the last third of the distance. Keep hugging the hull near the surface go slow and keep eye to your left and below you and an ear out. As soon as you can slip in to the ruined structure do so and immediately beach the seamoth on the partial submerged platform. Do it this way and you SHOULDN'T have any trouble. I've never run into Reapers doing it this way, though they do patrol that area so it is possible, so I proceed with an overabundance of caution every time. You should have plenty of time to notice if a Reaper get's into visual range and if it do just stop and if needed back off slowly and it should pat away before it notices you. In my expirience Reapers are easy to avoid as long you see it first, and key to that is always been in a position where there are a finate number of directions on can come from (think of it like being a mafia don who always wants his back to a wall in a restaurant).

Thank you for your help everyone! Not actually home atm so I'll have to try when I get back.

I feel super incompetent that I can't figure this out haha!

Don't. Many of us have played through Early Access before the Aurora was even accessible! And so.. gloss over the early 'wtf do I do?' moments. I *do* remember faffing around the exploded shell of the Aurora for a good hour or so when I first got there before discovering the uh.. 'path' to get inside - that was around update um. Prawn I think it was (when the Prawn bay got added). A good year or more ago.

Nah, I got subnautica on release, almost got eaten by said reaper at the front of the Aurora:)
Exploration and learning is the key.

To be fair whichever way you head to the Aurora you pass over at least two Reaper patrol areas; so it's partially luck whether you need to deal with them or not. Also worth noting the Aurora run deliberately screws with you - normally it's easy to tell if there's a Reaper in the area because they make a constant, distinctive noise. So does the Aurora unfortunately.
The left hand surface route I think has the most likely chance of avoiding them - largely because you skip the one at the front of the Aurora (assuming you use the gap in the hull) and the one patrolling the left side tends to be a little too deep to bother you on the surface. Depending on approach you might bump into the one that patrols towards the rear (it seems to like the area near the kelp forest).

There`s no reaper on the left route. There`s one to the left, but far away - you need to swim like 200m to meet it. Or you meant the one in front of the Aurora, as it`s patrol route takes it a bit left? But you will never meet it if you use gap in the broken part.
