Problem with decoys
I just got a cyclops and practically made it into a mobile base so much that I don't really need me old base anymore. I put 2 indoor grow beds with lantern trees in them for food. I put a power cell charger so I won't run out of energy along with a battery charger. A fabricator and added more storage. Now I'm worried some leviathan will come and destroy it all because I have no decoys or the ability to build them. Where do I get the blueprints for them?

Power cell charger in a Cyclops isn't particularly useful, as the most you can hope for is a 1:1 ratio between energy spent by the engine cells and power added to cells sitting in the charger. Without an efficiency module, you will actively lose power.

Also, decoys aren't particularly effective against leviathans anyways, as they can be destroyed in 1-2 hits. More useful are the shield generator module, remembering to turn off all lights (internal and external), and turning off the engine.

If you still want the creature decoy, Wiki says that you can find the data cores in the underwater islands wreck (watch for bonesharks) and in lifepod 4 (located in the crash zone, so watch for reapers).

Power cell charger in the cyclops is a bit of an issue here on the boards. Lots of opinions about it, but basically if you think about it intuitively you are just transferring energy from the cyclops’s power cells to the ones in the charger. You might as well just pull one out from the cyclops if you really need it for something else. The controversy comes from an exploit that used to exist where the power cell charger could provide a charge to the cells in it while not pulling out as much from the cyclops cells, so you got a net gain in energy which doesn’t jibe with physics. To make it more confusing, I’ve seen someone post that the energy efficiency module in the cyclops affects power cell charger, but I’m skeptical of that.
