How to kill a Warper?

I fired a singularity torpedo at a warper, it disappeared and never came back, is it dead?
So how the heck do I kill a Warper, like seeing it's body lying on the ground? So far only Warper and adult Ghost Leviathan(killed the junior one) are the only 2 killable things I haven't managed to kill in this game.

you cant kill warpers

pretty sure you can't. I've knifed them forever and nothing.

tornadopedos don't kill anything

there is one way to get them out of your hair if you really want, using stuff the game gives you.

There was a time I fired an acid torpedo at it, after it got hit, it warped me right in front of his face, and I got killed by my own torpedo... it was the first time I played an offline game and got show off-ed by AI manuver

If you stasis-rifle them they'll leave the area for a bit.

You can hurt them, and if they're hurt enough they'll leave and stay away for a little while, but they'll always come back sooner or later. They'll never stay dead.

I don't think that mod existed at the time of the last post before yours. May want to check dates before replying.

I figured that some people will search how to kill the warpers because of the warper hearts and this is one of the first search results. May want to think a bit before replying.

Mods don't count. And unmoded Subnautica they have several thousand hp.
