Cuddlefish Breeding?
I have two already, but they're outside. Well, one is technically inside, but not in the alien containment. I have one in the Tank right now, which leaves one egg left in the world for me to get. If I get it and hatch and leave both in the Alien Containment, will they make more? Can I have an army of them following me?

no cuddlefish are the one fish that doesnt reproduce, i think the devs wanted to make it more exclusive and limit them.

If it gets me an army of fish following me I'll do whatever it takes. WHAT.EVER.IT.TAKES.

Serously though that's kinda sad. Maybe when I beat the game I'll abuse the cashe reset and just keep picking them up.

Use command: "item cutefishegg" and o=you obtain cuddlefish egg

There's a mod for breeding cuddlefish so you can have as many as you like, and there's 5 in-game and you can get some in time capsules.

The thread you are pursuing here was previously last commented on in April of 2020.
That does not bode well for the currency and functionality of the mod you seek.

The mod that you are trying to find is here:

It was last updated in Feb 2020. Before the last couple of updates to SN. Try it but, don't be surprised if it does not work.

This is the big problem with necro'ing old threads, particularly ones with links or technical advice.
