Can't repair Aurora's locker room
Can anybody help me, I can't repair the locker room in the Aurora.
I cannot repair the Aurora if it's impossible to open this locker room door

You must have entered the Aurora from the side. I've always entered it from the front, past the admin, through the cargo hold, past the driveroom and seamoth bays, through the locker and then to that door.

The door controls that i repair for that door are on the other side. But after i fix it i can see the door panel on the other side (the one you are looking at) getting fixed too because i see the wires getting fixed and the panel cover flying into place on the one i fixed and the one on your side. I would think that that door can be opened by repairing the panel on either side. But maybe its bugged or they didnt intend for you to enter the Aurora from the way you came (at least not at your stage in the game) and only the panel on the other side of that door can by fixed?

You could try going in through the front to get to the areas that are on the other side of that door. Video below shows you how to get there. Just start it at about 4:00.

You should be able to repair the panel thing next to it, unless that is what you are talkg about. Odd you can't repair it then.

it might be a problem with the map too. you may need to execute a cell cache purge. sometimes the map doesnt finish generating everything. ive opened the door to the captains quarters to look at the interior of the entire aurora. so. if its because the panel isnt interactable then you should save ur game. and exit. then go into the subnautica local files and open the managed folder find ur most recent save game go into the folder then enter the cell cache folder select everything and delete it

This worked for me. Once I cleared the cellcache folder I was able to repair the door. Thank you bongerman85. Be aware that clearing the cellcache also resets the objects and doors in the aurora. You'll have to recut doors, put out fires, reenter codes. You'll find the PDAs again but they'll have nothing on them. Just a heads up.

There's a lot of interaction issues with the latest patch, reloading the game was what actually fixed it for you, not the cellcache purge (in this case). I wasn't able to repair a panel or interact with just 2 of my wall storage containers. Reloading the game fixes all interaction issues - it's a scripting problem that is causing all of them. Misplaced comma or something probably...

Dawg if i could i would kiss you right on the mouth right now, I sank "hehe" 15 hours into the game just to run into the door problem and just about quit because no one had an answer. Then I tried your method and now the door works. You are truly a legend man. Much Thanks. Sorry for replying after after a year and a half of you posting this but I just ran into this issue after just buying the game.

no problem believe it or not im still active and still play subnautica this trick will fix a lot of issues. just make sure u have finished preparing prior to the purge as it wipes the map clean and replaces everything including time capsules. be advised on the capsules tho that they will be the same capsules that were there the first time you went through. this is because when subnautica starts a new game one of its first tasks in the initial game start is to pick a number of pre approved capsules, i have heard its 40 or so and place them on the map. so they are treated like the other resources on the map.

A good way to cheese the second blue tablet or get infinite posters without using the console.
