Moonpool fragments?
I need to go to the jellyshroom degasi seabase, which I of course can't go to without a depth module mk 1 for my seamoth .-. so I need to find moonpool fragments... where are they? I know there's some in a wreck in the grand reef but I'd rather not go there because of the ghost leviathans... are there any other places or am I going to have to gain courage and go?

wreck in the sparse reef near pod 19 (There are 2 sections of fuselage and moonpool frags should be pretty close by) & the mushroom forest where pod 13 is (here fragments are scattered all across the sea bed so you might have to wonder through the forest quite a bit but they’re there). those are the two best places i know of

Ahh thanks so much! The sparse reef is perfect since it's so safe lol

There is a mk 1 depth module in the Aurora as well, in the seamoth bay.

Yeah I haven't been to the Aurora yet. Reapers scare me lol the only place I've been with reapers is the mountain island and I was terrified to go there even

Mushroom forest next to the Aurora, no hostiles, advanced resources, moonpool frags, plus Cylcops and a few modification station frags.

mushroom forest is pretty safe as well. the sparse reef should work but be aware sometimes there aren’t moonpool fragments near that wreck (but usually there are)

That would be my second choice. It just makes me a little uneasy because it's so close to the crash zone.

I think I'm gonna try the sparse reef one. Do you know how deep it is?

I usually find Moonpool fragments in the grass plateau/mushroom forest NW of the crash site.
In my last game I found both 2 fragments needed for the moonpool around the jellyshroom degasi base. You don't necessarily need the depth module, just leave your seamoth at 250m and dive down. You just need the high capacity tank.

The reapers are only located under the nose and the rear of the Aurora, not the side, ive never encountered any.

I was going to do that and do it over the entrance to jellyshroom that's right above the sea base but I can't find it lol

the wreck in the sparse reef (and the debris around it) is about 220 to 240 meters deep so be careful with the SeaMoth. You’ll need to park it around 195 meters depth and swim down a little but it’s very doable!

Okay maybe I'll check there then if I can't find any fragments in the sparse reef.

Just watch out for bleeders, there small , hard to see and attack quick. I know theres at least 1 swimming around where the wrecks are.

I think the bleeders are only in the deep sparse reef (the crevasses that extend bellow like where Lifepod 19 is) . I’ve never had an issue with them at the wreck site.
