How do I find Reaper Leviathans?

I can't find reapers at the Aurora so where can I find them?

You don't find them, they find you! They circle the ship, so you'll find one eventually.

The easiest way to find reapers is to visit the dune biome. Check the online maps for location.
The first time people usually encounter a reaper is when trying to access the Aurora. You're pretty much guaranteed to meet one a bit in front of the aurora, and a bit behind the back section.

The area with the most is located directly behind the ship. The water is tinged reddish yellow and there’s no plant life to speak of.

Get into a Seamoth and drive with ligths on behind or into the front of the Aurora

Make LOTS of noise. Even better, get the Creature Decoy, craft a few and deploy them by hand.

You'll soon have more Reapers than you know what to do with.

I think on the ride side of the Aurora, when you get into the void, reapers will spawn.

Ghost Leviathans spawn in the void. Not reapers.

OP, if you gotten the lifepod 4 signal you might be one of the lucky few that may have a Reaper spawn right under it. It’s a rare spawn though.

use your seamoth, and venture south (closest) or else until the edge of the maps. They'll remind you to return to the arena

Reapers patrol the borders? I’ll check that out purely out of curiosity

EDIT: for the REAPERS, there are 4 that easily to encounter

1. around the back of the aurora
2. just in the front hull of the aurora
3. near the entrance below the something big on the northern island (dont want to spoil this).
4. from your lifepod. go south. far south until the landscape is become desert like.

if you travel to the border, you will receive warnings about large biomass and advise to return.
Actually what is patrolling there are GHOST leviathans.
