Stay quiet and stealthy

Ignore him and run your cyclops at very low speed or even silent mode if the beast is too close.

Cyclops?? Why use a Cyclops when you have the fantastic Prawn Suit?
Going down there with a Cyclops is just a waste of resources IMO.

I used a Prawn and built several outpost all around the center structure... easy peasy. :-]

I used the cyclops even to go into the door of the primary containment facility.

My cyclops is my base. In which way is using a complete mobile Base with unlimited Energy and perfekt stealth abilities a waste of resources in compairsion to the prawn, which is Incredible slow - as Long as you don't waste an arm Slot for the Hook - has Limited Energy and storage space, is highly vulnerable against agressive warpers and needs the Support of stationary outposts for Maximum effectivity?

If you Like the prawn More, than the cyclops ... That is fine. But don't Fall ist a waste, because a Well stuffed cyclops is the Most effective way to handle all ingame-logistics.

just use the grappling hook to move along the ceiling, he will never be able to touch you just because of the insane speed of the PRAWN if you are able to use the grappling hook to bost yourself
basically the same like in terraria

I'm thinking big as it is it won't go unnoticed by the Sea Dragon and get attacked often... hence you'll be always repairing it or need to leave it to recharge since you had to use the Shield or Silent Mode (which is a huge energy sink) to avoid attacks.

That is wrong.

A cyclops with deactivated engine and Lights will be ignored by everything. Cyclops is the Most effective vehicle for stealth-mode. Even without silent running being Used.
On slow Speed It still Produces less hate, than the prawn.

Use Prawn suit with grapling hook and rocket booster to quickly move around , sometime you can even hide in a crack to avoid the sea dragon .

No reason to bring cyclop deeper .

Ok, well, then I guess it's about personal play style...

But I don't understand, your solution is to NOT use the Cyclops (by completely stopping the engines) to avoid attacks??

I can go around with my prawn as long as I want without ever needing to stop.
It's just much more agile and can fit in small cracks and crannies.

I think they’re just indicating when you turn the engine off all attacks stop and/or when you park it outside the ATP/PCF, with engines off, it will be fine!

Nope, No Personal preferences. Your hint is Just wrong in Point of wasting anything.

If i Go down With the cyclops, i can still use the prawn for going around. But at the Same time i have everything with me i will ever need. Every collected piece of ressources, every crafting Station. My growbeds for an endless supply of food and water.

If you Go down With the prawn only, Like suggested in the First Place, you have to completely rely on the Limited storage space of the prawn and you need a Hook which means that you can Not have the Drill and a normal arm.

This Method May still Work. But This depends on the building Materials you brought with you in the First Place. or the place, where your mainbase is actually located. I won't doubt, that you can have fun this way, If your mainbase is in the lost River. But i won't suggest trying it, If it is in the shallow.

The cyclops Method Just enable you, to have your mainbase, where you need it. The prawn can then still be Used for Exploration.
