How Do I Remove Air Pipes/Pump?
Ive been playing subnautica for about 3 days now and I want to move my base but it is not allowing me since I have an air pump/pipes attached to it and I have no idea how to remove them. Can someone help me out? Thanks.

try swimming up to the pipe pieces and press RMB, a button prompt should appear on screen when close to them. if its the base attched air pump them you need to builder to get rid of it, apart from that the pipes are not part of the base, only the base attcahed pump is, the others shouldnt affect the base

The thing is its a floating pump and the pipe leads to the top of the base. When I swim up to it, it doesnt give me a prompt to RMB to get rid of them...

swim to pipe piece near your base and it should give you button prompt to pick it up, those pipes dont need to be attached to your base, they dont give your base oxygen

This is what im working with. Its still not giving me the RMB prompt, and when I go to deconstruct any part of the base the prompts lead me back telling me to remove the pipes in order to deconstruct the other parts.

Are you getting any prompts with any of the pipes sections or even the pump?. If not then your might have a problem.

None what-so-ever. Im starting to believe its glitched to the point of not being able to do anything about it!

Yeah sounds like-it, if your cant deconstruct the room due to the pipes, and the pipes wont let you pick them up. Sounds like a bug. How long ago did you save?

How far in to the game are you? As in have you explored a lot or is this a new game.

You have to start with the last pipe piece and work your way back to the pump.

Go inside the base and look for the end of the pipe. The prompt to pickup a pipe is only available at the little cylindrical tip of the last pipe.

Not sure why you have a floating pump hooked up to a base to begin with. Bases produce their own oxygen when powered. The pipes only use is for you to be able to refill your O2 when outside of a base. for exploring caves, etc. Where the O2 is sourced from depends on whether you use a floating pump at the surface or a Base-Attached Air Pump for when you're too deep to make a floating pump practical. In any case, the base itself is a source of O2 and doesn't require any pipes or pumps.
