Depth module mk2 for prawn suti

There is one thing I do not understand. To be able to create the depth module mk2 for the prawn suit you need three peices of Kryanite. The only place I know to get kryanite is in the lava zone, and that lays deeper then my prawn suit and/or seamoth can go. Because the prawn suit only goes to 900 m without the depth module mk2. Plz help me Im in need of guidance.

the MK1 will take you to 1300 metres, more than enough to reach Kyanite to make the MK2

I'm guessing the problem is that you are looking at the Modification Station and don't see the Mk1 depth module, only the Mk2 depth module?

You *create* the Mk1 depth module in the Moon Pool fabricator.
You *modify* the Mk1 depth module into a Mk2 in the Modification Station.
