"backpack" inside the aurora

Hey all.

So i have made it to the inside of the big shuttle, aurora ! ?
And there are these "sports-back-packs" that we can put stuff in.

But when i fill them up, i cant pick it up. And if it is empty i can pick it up, but then not put anything in it.

Is this a bug, or am i misunderstanding something ?

Because i can never have enough space on my person. Can i craft something so i can hold more stuff at one time ?
I mean some stuff takes up 6 spaces, and when i go out and explore i always run out of space :-/

The bags are just for decoration now, you use to be able to put stuff in them, but they took up as much inventory space as the bag held so you gained nothing, i use a storage mod that gives me 80 inventory spaces rather than the default 50 so no more having to worry about not being able to carry something from the Aurora.

as far as i can see the bag can hold 9 spaces, but only takes up 6.
It is not much, but still it is better than nothing.

bummer that they dont work. That would be so cool for the game. To have something on your person, just like the extra space you can put on you mini sub.

while in EA they use to hold 3x3 but used 3x3 in your inventory so they seem pointless, increasing there capacity and having it take up less inventory space but removing the ability to carry them when they contain items is a major let down

exactly.
And well first of all, it was just to be sure i did not do something wrong ;-)
So if they are only for show, i guess i might as well forget about them.

I belive QMultiMod has an option to re-enable picking up these bags while they carry inventory.

I'm not sure since I never tried out this feature myself so don't quote me on this.
