It's very cathartic and by the end you will no longer have any problems with them.
.....At least until you leave creative mode. Then you'll be back to square one
As there is no console commands to make other things invisible and I doubt anyone made an invisible reaper mod as most mods, though not all, seem to want to make the game easier not 'balls to the wall' harder, the second option is the only one you really have.
Here's a list of the commands the game has.

That or get a prawn with a grapple and punch them all in the face until they die, then just don't look down to "not see them (lying on the ground)". At least until they respawn.
You won't be able to make them disappear, but you can make them so small and ineffective as to be hilarious instead of terrifying.
It's all free. You need need to set one up to download them, but it's useful since it can help you keep track of when's mod you've downloaded has been updated.
Just Google for "Nexus mods Subnautica" and you'll find it.
Once you're there, you'll find it under the name "QCreatureConfig".
As for how to install it, just read the instructions on the website.
You don't need to ask the forums for any of this info. It's all right there.
I've been using a free account on Nexus for years and never had to pay anything.
I got all the mods I use for Subnautica from Nexus and didn't need to pay anything.
Nexus has the 'option' to have a paid account to help support the site.
And they also allow you to send money to the mod makers directly without them taking a cut. But all that is entirely optional.
The only things that do damage Re the knife, the Prawn Suit, and that's really about it. 9nly melee weapons do any damage.
You could try using the propulsion cannon but I'm not sure what that'll do even with instagib on.
