Report a translation problem
I use the normal knife because thermal blade has an annoying bug where an animiation gets stuck on screen until you reload.
Pretty sure thermal does more damage but I'm so annoyed by the bug I can't use it anymore.
If that's not a good enough answer, get a stasis rifle and go test it out for yourself. How many hits does it take to kill a stalker with each, or something like that.
Prawn arms do more damage than both. And driving into a spadefish does the most damage.
Have to make sure he stays in the stasis "bubble", so I usually hit him again with the stasis rifle a little earlier than is probably needed, just to be sure he don't move.
