How to repair the Seamoth?

I have the repair tool and I'm trying to use it on my seamoth and nothing is working. Is this how you repair it? Is this a bug or am I doing it wrong?

Where are you? Are you in range? Maybe your power is dry?

The battery maybe dead, your not close enough or your trying to repair using the laser cutter, a load of people ( including my self. ) have done that

It finally worked, I think it was bugged. I reloaded the game and tried again and it let me do it finally. So thanks! ;)

THANK YOU! Searched for 20 minutes on different points to try and repair (where it's all bubbly and clearly broken was my first guess) - FINALLY came across your comment and had a "OMG I'm so stupid" moment, trying to use the laser cutter to repair it...

your welcome, its a common mistake, the amount of times ive tried to repair with the laser, or cut with the repair tool.

The repair tool doesn´t seem to work on the seamoth if it is docked in the moonpool.

There is no repair function in the moonpool Vehicle Upgrade Console.
