Moonpool fragment locations?

I need a moonpool to get the seamoth depth module mk 1 but! I can't find the fragments anywhere. I know there's some found in Grand Reef, and one in the mushroom forest near the crash site but I don't want to go to those places because there are leviathans in/around those areas. Are there any other places to get moonpool fragments?

*** Most of the Data Boxes and fragments are contexual. If you have explored extensively you may not find what you are looking for in a given location or wreck.

LP19 is the first area I visit after building a seamoth.

Explore the wrecks above LP19 for Moonpool fragments and a data box. Rubys are in abundance on the walls of the cave network.you can usually find air-sacks, lithium (LI). Find the Alien Vent and follow it to a Blood Kelp forest get the Blood Oil and the Deep Mushrooms a little lower (350-400M)

I think I have enough lithium and magnetite for now thanks to the -250M degrassi habitat.
But no, I have yet to visit LP19...
Since I've lost a few hours of work, I probably have enough for a new scanner base setup near LP19 :-).

I wish there was a command post like structure that allows you to command all scanner bases and aggregate all those scans in a zoomable map. Or a command post that's as large as the moonpool with the map showing only aggregations of scanners.

Try the mushroom forests. You have to a bit of searching on your own, but you also don't have to worry about reapers.

There is free depth 1 module for the seamoth in the Aurora's belly, near the engine room. There are 2 more free modules in the Aurora.

Still didn't prepare me for the fact that Reapers DO spawn at the second location.

3 actually one in the engine room, one in each of the vehicles bay aboard the ship. other area that may be easier, but doesnt 100% always have the fragments is the wreck near no 19.

The Sparse Reef wreck near Lifepod 19 is a good place to look, since that's usually an early-ish game visit and is on the way to the southern island from the safe shallows.

Moonpool fragments can also occasionally be found near the Degasi base in the Jellyshroom Caves. The debris there seems to be a random selection of fragments from among the thermal plant, nuclear plant, and Moonpool.
