seamoth upgrades
So I farmed for half an hour to get my seamoth some upgrades and it was almost destroyed 2 times, onc almost by a reaper but he got estracted and attacked a warper and another time from a crab snake. So if my seamoth blows up do the upgrades just go up into oblivion or do they drop and i pick them up and SWIM FOR MY LIFE. I'm guesing the upgrades go with it but I just want to make sure so I know if I can be a little more careless with it.

Also same for the prawn suit and cyclops, do they lose their upgrades or can I pick them up once they already blew up. Or do I have to go out take the upgrades and run before my vehicle blows up.

You will lose your mods for your Seamoth and Prawn, yes because they just outright explode.

I honestly forget if you can take back mods from a destroyed cyclops, or much of anything that was inside a UI container. It will take any docked seamoths/prawns with it though.

I'm gonna leave my Cyclops in 3rd gear, for science.

EDIT: So, I don't know if it lasts. But immedialy swimming into the rear of my destroyed cyclops.

Modules, still in the console.
Lockers, still have their stuff.
Decoy tube: still stocked.

Power cells in the engine: Recoverable, but all drained down to Zero because **** you I guess.

Regular battery charger: Still as charged as you left them. (I didn't make power cell chargers)

Planters. Empty.

Use the Seamoth perimeter defense system. Your Seamoth might get damaged though but it can survive.

Warpers usually don’t care about your seamoth. They just warp you out of it and hack your face open.
So, instead of run away with seaglide, hit him in the face with repulsion cannon, he will fly out of aggro range or reset patrols pattern.
You can also push crabsquids, but due to its size, you may need to close the distance more than once to push it further away from your course.

i know but same thing because it seems whenever a warper us near by there is something that can destroy my seamoth so they still suck, hat's why I bang into them with my cyclops while taunting them lol

When I'm operating the Seamoth or PRAWN, I always have the repair tool in one of my quick slots so I can jump out and repair it after it takes more than 10-15 damage.

If you are piloting carefully, you shouldn't have to worry about total destruction, even from a Reaper, as they will let go of a vessel after dealing something like 60 damage, and as long as you have your bearings, you should be able to get away.

Once you have the Perimeter Defense (Seamoth) and one of the defensive options for the PRAWN (drill, repulsion cannon, torpedo tube) your chances of surviving an attack hit almost 100%.
