Feeding a reaper leviathan a peeper

Is this a thing? I saw markiplier do it in his most recent video and I was so suprised that it seemed like it worked. Is it really a thing?

From observation they obey the same rules as the other predators (they won't attack you for a few seconds after eating a fish) so in theory it should work; never checked to see if they'll take food from your hand the same way the sharks do though.

I would assume they will take food from your hand.. along with your hand, arm, shoulder and everything else.

I do believe this is still possible to hand feed a reaper peepers to have them not aggro you. It's a short lived..."friendsip" should be useful if you want to scan one. Don't do what I did and just chase one with the sea glide altenating from the Sg to scanner. I'm totally amazed It didn't manage to eat me. It was ballsy as hell.

Just use the Prawn suit with the drill arm. It'll still try and take the whole arm of course, but now you can bill it for the dental services afterwards.

I actually tried this myself, and they do take them. I had a few live peepers on me (about 8) and decided to try it. I found myself a reaper, got my seamoth destroyed (sneaky bugger attacked me from behind, so I quickly got out) held the peepers and soon found myself being held by the reaper like it held my sub. When everything when black I assumed it had killed me, but when things went back to normal I saw the reaper swimming away and I was down 5 peepers.

I rapidly retreated after that to get materials for a new seamoth.

It was an interesting experience honestly.

The ghost leviathan will also take fish from your hand, just far less gently than the reaper leviathans do and come back for more a lot faster (I got hurt everytime). But they DO take your fish! I don't recommend feeding the ghosts though unless you're crazy like me (and have the reinforced suit). x_x

It's supposed to take one by one and you never lose consciousness. Maybe something went wrong xD
