What to do after Disease Research facility?

I'm at a loss, at the end of the facility it just says 'continue to figure out why the life on this planet is resistant to the disease'. No more guidance than that. I messed around some more in the lost river area, found a forcefield that my regualr alien tablets won't open. Then I went to the magma area and found yet another facility (thermal plant I assume) that I can't get into because my tablets don't work. What am I missing here?

Oh..I get it. The force field you found in the lost river needs a orange tablet from the deep grand reef degasi base. The alien base you found in the lava zone is not the thermal plant but the primary containment facility that needs the blue tablet ( please scan it first) from the thermal plant which I guess is inside a mountain with smoke emitting from the top.

There are PDA's at each of the Degasi bases (the other ship that was lost which your ship was checking up on). They give you pointers to other bases they made and you'll find alien tablets among their things at a couple bases.


There is the island base, another base in a cave near the start and a 3rd, deep base, entered through the blood forest area - where you find the white trees with the blood pods. The third base has an orange tablet - which is a little different than the purple tablets and needed to get into a deep alien facility. In that one is a blue tablet behind a forcefield needing a purple tablet - which is needed to get into an alien facility in the lava area.

You need a few purple tablets, one orange (THE one you find) and two blue tablets (1 you have to make) to get into all the different places.

So, in total, you'lll need 3 different types of alien tablets - the pointers about them are from following the Degasi storyline, going to their different bases.

Make yourself a P.R.A.W.N MK.II suit and head to the inactive lava zone at the dunes/crash site. MAKE SURE THE SUIT IS IN THE CYCLOPS. Pre-prepare food, water, heat resistance, weapons and power sources (Like the thermal charge of the prawn), AND DONT FORGET YOUR THERMAL SUIT EITHER. Once in, tuck around the sea-dragon into the lava castle for the base there, or find the active lava zone sinkhole to get to the prision, from there im not spoiling story
