Is the River that is in The Lost River Toxic?
So I was trying to get some crystalline sulfer from the lost river but as soon as I went in to the river I started dealing damage. No matter were I am as soon as I go into the river I start to take damage. Suggestions???

toxic, either make QUICK BURST

or get a prawn suit
Indeed it is. It's also one of the only place to get crystalline sulfur. Also note that when you get to a certain giant blue place in the lost river (don't want to spoil it), that stuff is safe. I didn't know that till I accidentally fell in thinking I was gonna die!

It will damage a person but a PRAWN suit or a Seamoth can go into it just fine.

also a good point to put a jumpoff station, somewhere you can stop, recharge, eat, drink, look at the pretty sights, ect

but i would recommend if you can, build the grappling arm, and a drill arm, and just take the modules with you when you go, so you can swap em out as needed

The green river is corrosive but if you find a blue river then thats safe to swim in, just watch out for green waterfalls coming from the roof. Swim through those and I think it harms you as well

i want to correct this person, the SEAMOTH will infact take damage, slowly, but it takes damage from it, the only one that doesnt, is prawn

unless you want to rush farming for somecrystaline sulfur then dive in and out and patch up if you low, if not just use prawn

You can use your gravity or propulsion gun to pull the mats out the toxic pools.

The green fog is poisonous. The blue fog is not.
