This. I turn it off in all games. To me it feels like motion blur makes it look as if I'm watching a video instead of watching through my eyes. Like when moving, say playing sports or whatever, you never notice motion blur. But if your watching a home video you see it all the time. It also gives me a head ache if I play a long session.
It's crazy that Subnautica detects that you are using a good graphics card and intentionally makes the game look like crap by default.
For reference:
I went to <ESC> -> Options -> Graphics
Then I set everything to the minimum, or turned it off, aside from dithering. The game is possibly less pretty, but at least it prevents every other frame from being a blurry mess. It's a good choice until they release a "Don't make the game look like crap by default" button.
