Lifepod Beacons not showing up in beacon manager.
I get the distress signal message on the radio, and it tells me it has been recorded to the data bank, but nothing shows up in the beacon manger.

Check the "Markers" tab in your PDA - do you have any marker for other pods? If yes then try to switch visibility off an on again.

There are some in there, but they are ones I have already been to. New ones aren't showing up. For example in the voice log it says Life Pod 7 has been recorded, but no Life Pod 7 is in the Beacon manger.

Some of them changed now to written clues, you can find them in your Databank. For example one lifepod tells you it is a certain distance and direction from a different lifepod and contains a photo.

I liked the feature to be honest, bit more like a treasure map than a 'go from A to B' map marker :)

Please read carefully your log notes - your PDA should say that location for Pod 7 is corrupted and approximate location is added to your databank (it's the last tab).
Check out section "Downloaded Data > Codes and clues" to read about approx. coordinates of lifepod 7

Some of the Lifepods don't create pings in the beacon manager, the PDA will tell you this when the message is received. Instead, in the databank you'll find an entry for the lifepod, a photo of it's surrounding taken from the lifepod's camera, and a description of it's general position relative to other landmarks.

You're tasked with finding these Lifepods with less assistance, unlike the others which just create waypoints for you to trundle over to for free loot.
