How Do I shut Off Night?
Anyone know if we can turn off the night, I can't get anything done because the days are so short. I just get started and it's night again and i find my self standing around waiting for the sun to come up, it's way to dark to do anything. Or at least make the days longer so you can get something done.

Craft a bed and sleep. You'll wake up at daytime.

OK thanks, don't see a bed in my thing to make but will keep it in mind. These short days are killing me.
You'll have to scan a bed first in order to craft one. Aurora is full of scan-able beds.

Went through everywhere i could on the Aurora didn't see any beds, wouldn't even know where to start seeing i didn't see anywhere else to explore. Back to youtube i guess, I am spending more time on youtube trying to figure this game out then actually playing it.

The beds are in the crew quarters, which is through the Prawn Suit bay. To get there you need a laser cutter. Also a propulsion canon. You need that to clear debris from one of the ramps in the bay.

Really it's not on planet earth, lmao
I could care less where it is my point was the days in the game are way to short to accomplish anything and was just looking to see if there was a setting to change it or make the days longer, didn't need an explaination on why you think the days are short.

OK didn't see that area.
DragonCurse64 gave directions to get to it. Takes a bit but there is alot of lore and goodies in there. Worth the work. ;)

No seaglide or flashlight? The latter is covers quite a huge area with pretty good illumination.. Can't imagine why you'd need to sit around and wait for day. But yeah, bed'll let you sleep through the night, you can find them in a few different places, aurora living quarters being one of them

Also note that you will need at least one fire extinguisher, in the prawn bay and senior crew quarters. And I was able to get over the small boxes on the ramp, but a propulsion cannon would help anyway, as said.

By the way, I can see enough in the night to get things done. Lots of life gives off light and the sky is not totally black.

I don't know if a moon that big could orbit at such a high speed... but regardless, it's so close that the tides should be hundres of feet high lmao
