Alien Thermal Plant

So I just cleared the alien thermal plant but didn't get an achievement. is there something specific that needs to be triggered to unlock the achievement or am I just out of luck?

Did you check downstairs? I missed that the first time i got there.

Check downstairs, and if you've used any console commands to correct errors or spawn items, you'll have to restart your game to get achievements again.

Edit: To clarify, Upon restarting and loading into a save that has completed an achievement, it will unlock that achievement

nope I got downstairs. and no I didn’t use any console commands

I had the same problem, but as I was leaving, I got it. It seems to be at the point the cave opens up into the lava chamber. When I went in, I was hugging the rigth wall. When I left, I was more in the middle. So, try moving around that area and see if it tiggers it.

hey thanks for the suggestion but it didn't work. however after walking around the thermal plant for a while the achievement unlocked. no idea why there was a delay. thanks for the help anyways :)

I had to jump around on top (outside) of the thermal plant (after exploring everything there, inserting the purple tablets and all) to unlock the achievement. I almost gave up...

I got it swimming above the roof of the building.
