Floodlights not working?
My floodlights don't work after I built them.

I read they might use battery but I can't find anywhere to load the batteries, if there is somewhere.

No batteries, attach to base same way as spotlight.

Ohey I just figured this out. It looks like they won't work if your base has less than 100 power.

My floodlights also don't work but my base has over 300 power. I'm not sure if that is correct.

How close to your base are you building them? IIRC if they're not in direct contact with a module or corridor you'll probably need to use a power line out to them.

My floodlights are on a foundation but they don't work. I saw that in a degasi habbitat area, there were floodlights that were on and they were on a foundation.

It might require 500 power minimum. My bioreactor was keeping me at 120 so i fired up my nuclear reactor and got up to 680.

Apparently Floodlights have trouble receiving power from great distances. I had floodlights out at the edge of my new base but the power never got that far. Strangely enough Spotlights still worked fine. Might be a bug worth reporting.

It's not a certain amount of power required, it is something to do with connection, basically I constructed mine on top of my habitat and it lit up, but in the past for me, I always spawned it near the habitat and it would not connect to the power.

If the fondation is NOT connected with ( or very close to ) the mainbase, it counts as a seperate base and will need its own power supply!

sometimes floodlights just wont turn on. Just build a platform and a solar panel and place some floodlights ( green matrix ). You will see that some are just not turning on.

i noticed if i place a floodlight when the its yellow, it wont power on, only when its green.

of course u cant place it if its red.
