Time Capsules: What, Where and When?

If you have found a time capsule post here to say what was it it, where you found it and how long you found it after starting your game

I found a time capsule a few hours after I made my seamoth, I was looking for wrecks and I had already fully explored the aurora. It contained a stillsuit.

I found 2
1 had no items; just words and a picture; found the in the Safe Shallows
The other had a Scanner, Repair Tool, Flashlight, Builder and Knife; found behind the Aurora in the Crash Zone
Both about 15hours into my game

how do you find them, just randomly spot them ?
or do they have like some sort of pda looking glow ?

They spawn randomly afaik
They have a blue glow about the same as the chests in the Aurora/around wrecks

When you look around go in at night with lights of you spot them eqsy

was playing on a friends computer....

got the message to go to lifepod 19 and went there... found 2 there within 10 feet of each other... scanner, builder, repair tool and a flash light in one, other had 2 posters (aurora and keep calm) battery and a seed for a plant in the other... didn't realize how I had gotten 2 of each of the tools until I remembered I had to get in and out quick cause they were next to tiger plants and had to dodge the needles to get in to get it. was in a bit of a panic/blind fury going after it and didn't pay attention.

then after I headed over see the sunbeam.... went down the side of the mountain to max depth for the seamoth at this time (300m) looking for magnetite (for the future) and found 2 down there too! ended up getting 2 grappling arms for prawn suit, another poster (Prawn suit) and a powercell in the first one and a solar panel mod for my seamoth, diamond, purple artifact, and an ion cube

found all 4 in less than an hour!!! was thrilled for the solar power mod cause I haven't found a moonpool fragments yet or modification station fragment.... now just need to stay away from reaper leviathans unlike the first time I went to the mountain island looking for diamonds for my laser cutter! almost lost my seamoth cause one spawned right on me... bailed out in a panic and watched him take it down 50m and let it go... then went and grabbed it quick and took it to the surface to repair quickly... had 2 health left!!

all in all... was fun to find them! was shocked over the grappling arms and solar power mod! I haven't even made it to floater island yet!
I'll probably put an ion battery and power cell in my capsule... maybe a gel sack and a deep shroom with instructions to grow them!

found one with a stasis rifle. put it in my moth and it got eaten by a reaper. i swear he did it purely for gigles it was just floating around reaper comes brakes it for no reason.

I just found my first time capsule after about 13 hours in this playthrough. There were 2 disenfected water and a bulb bush sample in there with a message about how those bulbs taste good etc. I found it in the grand reef about 2000 meter away from the life pod at a depth of 436 meters.

I found one today not far from lifepod 19. Never saw one before. About 19 hours into the game. I didn't know what it gave me until I looked in my inventory (must have missed the on-screen message) - it gave me the maximum depth mod (Mk 3?) for the cyclops. Nice easter egg!

found 3. First gave me a ton of ion power cells. Second gave me a mk1 depth mod for the moth. and the third gave me the finger as it was nothing but a thanks for buying the game with a twitter link or something.

Still though, enjoying the ♥♥♥♥ out of game. Speaking of which, back to it.

i found one while exploring near the aurora and it had that red knife that kills and cooks stuff but useless for me. i also found about 15 batteries round about there as well

Found one on the sandy bit of shore surrounding the Aurora. Had all the starter equipment that I'd already built :slaps forhead:
builder, flashlight, knife, scanner, repair tool etc.

I got a "stil suit" supposed to make you not have to drink water as much. Couldn't get it to work before I died an lost it. It could be a Dune easter egg but idk.

The time capsules are random. Got the propulsion cannon when I opened it second time.
