Cant build the Neptune platform! pls help.
I decided to finally finish my journey. The cure is released the gun is deactivated only one thing left and that is to build the rocket and leave that beutiful island.
And this is the point where I release the mobile vehicle bay climb up click on the neptune platform (with all the ingridients with me) and nothing happenes. literallly nothing happenes the little drones do nothing.
Tried it in deep water tried it shallow water but for some reason just cant build it. Not even a message comes up like it does with the cyclops if you try to build it in shallow water.
Just big fat nothing without any explenations.
Any Ideas?

i get a pause and the materials are removed from my inventory, but no platform.

in my case, nothing happens either - really, nothing - i'm on the game NOW (2018/JAN/24)
it does not remove the materials from me, i never even played the experimental builds ...

I had to build a new vehicle bay just like kwong sad and it worked.

Personally in stable mode I did not have any problem with the rocket

building a new vehicle bay worked! crafted everything and launched neptune ... funny, great ending for a great game

The bay takes the materials and freezes momentarily, but does nothing. I tried again with a new bay (1 via console commands, another crafted with commanded mats), still the same results. I'm on the latest experimental version 59785. I can't even go back to the stable version because it says the save is too new.

I think I saw another thread about this and they had said building a new mobile vehicle bay fixed it, you might try that.

building a new Mobile Vehicle Bay solved it for me 100% so definately suggest to try it.

Full power cycle

Quit without saving. Accept what ever losses that brings.

Quit game.
Verify local steam files.
Quit steam

Turn off computer. Dont restart. Turn it off.
Wait a full 1-2 minutes
Boot everything back up and see what happens.

If that doesnt help. Shes ♥♥♥♥♥♥, bud. Build another one somewhere else

I dont think this is gonna help anybody in any way.
Building a new vehicle bay solves the problem almost all the time.
The only thing worth trying from all this is to verify local files.

If you're in Stable, try a new MVB. If you're in Experimental, switch to Stable, then change the "changeset" value in your save's gameinfo.json file to the current Stable build number (59793 IIRC?) and the save will then load into Stable.
