What are the module slots on the player??

seriously what the heck are they. It looks like 2 computer chips or something are supposed to go there, but i cant find any information anywhere on it because i dont even know what the slots are called. And just to reiterate, the 2 Chip slots on your equipment UI

Compass and Scanner HUD. The compass adds a compass at the top of your screen, and the Scanner HUD chip places an orange circle around the items your scanner room is scanning for onto your hud, allowing you to see what it finds without needing to use camera drones.

There's also a mostly-removed thermometer. You can't craft it, but it's still sitting there in the blueprints list.
