Can you charge the cyclops power cells with power cell chargers kept on the cyclops?
Or does the cyclops draw more power the more stuff you have and it evens out?

Technically, yes. You'll simply transfer energy from your other power cells into the ones in the charger, resulting in basically no energy loss or gain.

If you have the thermal reactor module, you can use that to generate energy for the Cyclops, and then you'll be able to use that extra energy to recharge the ones in the charger.

GO PRAWN

this post was made my PRAWN gang*
You can charge the power cells in the cyclops but then it drains more power the more electronics you have.

I tried that yesterday. I had one charger in cyclops, i took out two empty cells and puts them into charger on 45% of cyclops energy. When cyclops ran out of energy completely, the two cells were charged just 88%, when i returned them back, the cyclops had just 30% energy.

The reason that "gang" has an asterisk(*) next to it is that this gang has a total number of one member, so not really a gang.
A member that is currently trying to clean pizza out of his fur and trying to get the potatos and bananas out of his prawns exhaust.

However, it seems that you can use the cyclops to charge the Prawn or Seamoth batteries while it is docked then use them in the cyclops to charge new drained batteries the same way.

Yes, you can build battery and power cells chargers on the Cyclops.

But you should only do that if you already have upgrades that allow the Cyclops to produce its own power so as to keep its own power cells topped up.

You can hunt for the Thermal reactor upgrade blueprints, but that's really late game.
You can get more options from Nexus Mods to make you Cyclops self sustaining via solar, nuclear, and even bio energy.
