S/he either spawned in or quickly built a Cyclops in Creative, and now is trying to get into the Aurora to stop the initial explosion. That means that as s/he tried to get around the bow of the Aurora looking for an entrance that s/he didn't quite remember (that doesn't exist until later), s/he was much further northeast of the usual entry point.
Now to address his actual stated issues:
1) If the Aurora has not yet exploded, and you went to the unbroken bow of the ship, you passed right through a Reaper spawn zone, so not surprising you encountered one.
2) Not sure if you did anything to attract one of the other Reapers that hang around the Aurora, but it is not impossible that another spawned in that spawn zone just off the Aurora's bow, especially if you were driving something as noticeable as a Cyclops around there for awhile. There are 6 - 8 Reaper spawn zones/ patrol zones around the Aurora in the Crash Zone, though most are at stern or on the starboard side of the crashed Aurora. The one you passed near is the closest to the early play areas of the game, and it is very close to the unbroken bow of Aurora. It is far enough forward, however, that there is no need to cross through it to enter the Aurora wreck once she has exploded. One of the stern ones is right by the starboard engine nacelle...but there is really no need/reason to go there...except to hunt Reapers.
3) This is what the Fandom Subnautica Wiki says about encountering Reapers while approaching the Aurora: "...there is usually one patrolling between the basin West of the Aurora, and the deep chasm beneath its bow."
Note that it does NOT say that there is always only one, or that it is always deep.
4) Reapers and Ghosts have patrol zones around the nominal spawn point. The creatures are large enough that it is possible to get close enough in clear shallow water with good light to see them in that patrol zone while you are still beyond their aggro limit.
Also it may be that the Reaper just will not come into the REALLY shallow water along the port side of the Aurora. The shallowest Reaper spawn point is at -47m (the one off the port stern of Aurora), but they really don't seem to like to go into water less than 70 - 100m deep.
5) If the Aurora has not yet exploded, you cannot get into it...period. There is no entry point. Both entry points are in the broken off area after the explosion. Apparently in some early builds there was a port side entry point (after the explosion), but it was removed sometime in 2017.
The "cage like entrance" to the Aurora that you mention is the broken framework of the ship after the explosion.
6) The Sea Emperor leviatan can probably kill a Reaper pretty easily, but it is planktoniferous in the game lore. There are...um...a couple other creatures larger than Reapers, but only one we know of that might hunt them, and that one is HIGHLY unlikely to be agitating a Reaper off the bow of the Aurora. Wrong location. Won't say more since you seem to not know of it - spoiler-ish.
7) All commonly available images of Reaper Leviathans show its tail. From some angles it isn't obvious because the picture is dominated by the mandiples and face/jaws, but there is a tail. I have never seen any discussion anywhere that indicated that there was an early build where it did not have a tail. But then maybe you first played a version before earlier than any Reaper discussion I have seen.
8) Reapers always swim pretty damn fast. It may have been trying to get to you but blocked by a shallow depth prohibition, or by your Creative invulnerability, etc, making it act frantic.
9) Getting afraid??? You are in Creative Mode, person!
If I were you, I'd be a lot more afraid that the quantum explosion of the Aurora would destroy my Cyclops, kill my character, and pop me back to LP5 sans boat, despite the "can't die" nature of Creative mode.
We don't get it because you're being a ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
yeah, the patrolling monsters near early game areas are scary. Cool, isn't it?
