Does perimeter defense system even work?
I'm still constantly getting attacked by fauna. I don't see it is working?

Select it by pressing its respective number from the hotbar, and then click to zap. Holding down the zap charges it to become more powerful, albeit using more of the Seamoth's enegy.

Oh thanks. That wasn't obvious to me since I didn't read that in the description. Are torpedoes worthwhile now? I'm reading a lot of people saying they are pretty much useless.

"HANS, LAUNCH THE NUKE!"

Somewhat, but a stasis rifle is more effective.

Gas ones will make them run off, if you can get them to hit.

Vortex ones are just fun and will fling them off into the distance.

The problem isn't so much that their useless, so much as the other options are just much more useful that they look so by comparison.

Now I'm kinda regretting using that upgrade. I wish the storage modules stacked because that would be more worthwhile to add than a semi-useless torpedo bay. I just want to travel around and not live in terror of getting close to the Aurora. LOL

The storages do work with more than one instaled. You just have to open each individually.
It's only on the prawn they stack, though I find that gives less space then they do in total for the seamoth.

And don't worry about getting close to the Aurora for danger. There are plenty of other places you get to meet big fish.
