Seaglide question
Does anyone know if using the flashlight/radar map uses up the seaglide's power quicker or not? I usually try to keep it off since I felt that might conserve it's power, but it'd be really useful to know if that's actually true or not

Yes, both options use up extra energy. If you have them both going, you'll see your battery charge drop quite quickly.

Solution: wear charging fins.

Yeah, charging fins are excellent once you get them. Your personal speed is garbage, but you charge the seaglide's energy faster than you use it, meaning you can glide, light, and sonar to your heart's content.

I’m on a second play through and I’m still pretty early in the game, so that’s not an option at the moment for me lol. But thanks for the info!

i hate the seaglides radar so much. Never used it never will. The flashlight is handy though

btw: do the charging fins come with 15% extra speed? Do not wanne miss that!

My battery seems to die faster when the stuff is off for some reason

With charge fins and a lightweight tank (if that increases charge rate at all), I get a very slight decrease of battery power with flashlight on, and very slight increase of battery power with flashlight off. I rarely use the sonar though.
