Degasi Base Achievements

I've been to both the Degasi bases in the Jellyshroom Caves and the Deep Grand Reef but haven't gotten the achievements. I collected the PDA's and have scanned everything that has been new. What do I need to do in order to get the achievements?

P.S. I've used the Subnautica Wiki and that didn't help either.

I'm pretty sure you just need to pick up all of the PDAs to unlock the achievement. There is the possibility that it simply didn't properly trigger for some reason, so you'd just have to reload and try again. (I had a similar issue when launching the Neptune, where the first launch didn't count, but reloading and launching it again gave the achievement)

I had the same issue, and it ended up popping up twice. In the Shroom cave, make sure you go in the broken hatch outside and use the gravity gun to move the hanging plants out of the way.
Also make sure you visit the Island base and all 3 sites, as the second time mines popped I had just roamed there and went back to the DGR where my base was.

In the mushroom cave there is a PDA that's a little hidden.
Go in the main (damaged) entrance. Go to the locker on the back left of that room. It's in there.

You also make it sound like you never went to the floating island, as there are three (one main and two smaller) more bases on there.

I have been to the floating island and have found all degasi PDA's that are in those locations.

I did get that achievement though and that's why I didn't mention it

The achievement you're talking about is 'Follow the Degasi'.
Find the Degasi habitat in the jellyshroom caves. It mentions nothing more than that.

Another Degasi achievement is 'Seamonsters'
Find the Degasi habitat in the deep grand reef

And yet another is 'Seaside Living with an Ocean View'
Find the Degasi habitat on the floating island

I have done all of those things but have only gotten the achievements for the floating island one

Pick up the PDA earlier in the cave that gives you a beacon signal, I had the same problem

Have you submitted a bug report and requested the achievements?

Maybe there is something you have missed and have not gained the achievement because of that.

i think he missed a pda in the degasi base. Happened to me. Just look again. Its the degasi base with the crabsquid things. or maybe it was the one with the pink mushrooms :/

anyways: its easy to overlook a pda
