Mushroom Forest glow?

Just wondering if anybody else got this/noticed this but the Mushroom Forests don't seem to glow during the night anymore? These used to be beyond my favorite biomes in the game, I'd always build my bases here for the scenery. But with the mushroom caps not glowing orange anymore it's mostly just creepy at night.

So my question is did this change in anybody else's game or is it just on my end?

They took it out a long time ago. The acid mushrooms also used to shrink and grow. I assume the changes were supposed to help performance problems but hopefully they will allow us to toggle them back on

That's very unfortunate. D: Yeah I just went back and looked at my old screenshots of the Mushroom Forests and compared it to now and it's pretty awful. That's a shame though, thanks for your comment.
