Waterproof Locker storage trick
If you made a bunch of Waterproof Lockers, as new players usually do, and don't want to use them anymore (because habitat lockers are the way to go.) empty them out, then put the contents away in proper lockers.

Here's the fun part. How many slots does one Waterproof Locker take up in your inventory? 16 slots. How many inventory slots can a Waterproof Locker hold? 16 slots. Store the Waterproof Lockers within each other, and voila! Easy Waterproof locker storage. Stuff the one remaining water locker in a REAL locker and forget they existed. This can be somewhat useful until the devs allow you to break them down for resources.

Enjoy your Matryoshka Lockers!

you can also deconstruct a locker with stuff in it to delete it from the game

Does this yield resources from the Waterproof Lockers as well? If it works that way, that's perfect!

This was more or less a plan to store them away until devs or a mod allow players to deconstruct them for resources, where resources are finite in the game. At least, that's what I've read.

no it doesnt yield the resources from inside the locker, its just a way to remove trash items like depleted reactor rods, and i suppose water lockers after they have no use anymore. anything you dont want anymore really.
Well, that certainly works, as well. Wasting storage space kind of sucks, so I can understand wanting to remove them completely. This is still an option for anyone that wants to hold on to them, just in case. I just found it odd that this method works in the first place.

yeah that is interesting it works that way
