Most fragments do look like pieces of whatever they are but a few are still the old placehold box looking things. Look inside the crates in the screenshots I posted, you can see the fragments inside the boxes.

But to be clear, not all fragments are in crates. Like the seamoth, for example, and the cyclops, those are way too big. Some fragments are inside large ship sections that you can go in. I found all the bioreactor fragments I needed inside the same room of an explorable wreckage section.

I've found 2 pieces of seamoth but are you saying that most of all fragments do NOT look like boxes?

I'll have to look at that wreck near the Aurora where there's a few crates

Also offtopic, but where can I find the blood oil to make benzene?

I haven't found blood oil yet so idk. The wiki would know.

It says it's in the blood kelp, but idk where that is, also, location for seaglide?

the blood kelp

Blood kelp is in the blood kelp biome.
Somewhere in and around the grand reef IIRC, fairly deep (several hundreds of metres) just before the underwater river biome.
Blood kelp plants are large blue glowing plants that are 'solid' (more like trees than kelp) unlike the normal kelp, there should be sacs of blood oil at the base of of the 'trees', they take up four inventory slots each so either bring storage (a PRAWN or a Seamoth with a storage module or two) or have a fairly empty inventory.

If you're lucky enough to come across an ABANDONED LIFEPOD (A broken lifepod that you can usually go into, nothing much) you might find one. They're pretty rare so I don't advise looking for abandoned lifepods. The lifepods are pretty cool for a screenshot, tough.

Actually I found the ♥♥♥♥ I needed, ABANDON THREAD

Also, I only seen 1 abandoned pod currently, which had a seamoth fragment. So I'm not sure if all of them include something worthy of finding.

If you want seamoth, look in the recks directly near the Aurora, build a dang lead suit

Alternatively go look around in the kelp forests

There's an entire radiation suit lying around one of the pods. I forget exactly which one but it's pretty easy to get to.

Pod 6, lying near the surface, alternatively, it is EXTREMELY easy to make a suit
