Can't find Seaglide fragments

I'm trying to find the Seaglide but I can't find fragments for it anywhere. I've looked all over safe shallows, kelp forest and even down in some of the grassy plateaus. Where do they normally spawn?

It took me forever to figure it out too. In the safe shallows and the creepvine areas, there are small cargo containers that are open on one side. Look in there, the seaglide parts are inside.

Thank you so much it would have taken me forever to realize those things had openings on the side. I feel so dumb lol

sometimes you just find them randomly but like what WarShrike said it can take a while

i never thought about looking into the cargo boxes, many of them were closed on all sides

Ouch...yeah, a vast majority of your earlier fragments are going to be in those crates. The first pod the radio sents you to has several fragments around it. Also, the first wreck on the seabed between you and the Aurora (before you get to the radioactive zone) often has some.
