No crash powder

Hey guys just picked this up during the sale and I'm really loving it, got about 6 hours in so far. The trouble is that it feels like things are bottlenecking really early on because while I have checked seven or eight of those crash pods by now, I haven't found any crash powder, only these useless creature eggs (about 4 or 5 of those).

I really hope there is an easy fix for this because things are just starting to get tedious gameplay-wise. At this point all I'm doing is swimming around looking for crash fish, which are actually very difficult to find in the first place. I've been down to nearly 200 m and explored all around the pod in every direction but I've had no luck. What is the deal with this stuff? Any advice? I'm not the kind of person who is ok with spending hours looking for such things and missing out due to bad RNG or crazy drop rates.

Spawn the item in using console commands.

Man, this was so me right after I bought the game. There seems to be something that stops it from appearing in a new game until it properly "appears". After you find it the first time it will appear regularly. For some reason, prior to that event, it will just not be there. After that, I find that about 50% have crash powder.

Crash fish are in the caves all around the shallows. They respawn after a day or so.. check the caves again. I also struggled with getting it. But just enjoy exploring ... u want to enjoy every minute of it.
