Was I supposed to get coordinates?

So on day 32 I received a message that read: "OFFICER KEEN: This is Second Officer Keen, broadcasting to all surviving Aurora crew! Captain Hollister is gone. I have assumed command. Scans say there's dry land 750m south of the crash site. Your orders are to stay together, ensure your immediate safety, and then regroup at the rendezvous point. Good luck. This message will now repeat. WARNING: Rendezvous co-ordinates corrupted. Downloading transmission origin co-ordinates." I did not recieve any coordinates, including origin coordinates. Is this still W.I.P. or is this a bug?
EDIT: Btw when I recieved this message I had my two chip slots full but my inventroy had slots open.

Check your inventory for something that doesn't look like your typical item. That or look around, it's possible that the coordinates were uploaded to the HUD without you realizing and there's a new beacon marking these coordinates you've just failed to notice

I didnt get it either.
But you can find the place by following the ship thrusters, since the ship itself creates a line pointing to it.

So its to the rear of the ship on the other side, following the thrusters? I must investigate.

Did you have it appear as a diffrent icon than the normal signal icon? If so how did it look?(After recieving the message I went and sorted my inventory and storage so I might have lost it in there.)

It should look like the normal signal icon. The problem is I can't recall which signal goes to which message exactly, but I think this one should be going north, not south

Hang on. Yeah no just go straight south. I never recieved the correct coordinates for that message either

?Go straight south in the direction the aurora`s thrusters are pointing to find the origin area?(also, would be usefull if you described what it looked like, so I dont miss it and keep swimmin)

Sorry I confused you, I hadn't read closely enough.

Go in a Southward direction following parallel of the Aurora, so in the direction the thrusters are pointing. You'll want to remain above the surface so you can see. On the horizon there should be some weird smudged clouds that don't seem to move. Swim towards that, a floating island not attached to the sea bed should eventually become visible to you

K, thanks, so the transmission came from a floating isle?

So were you supposed to go or do something here?, i got the PDA and scanned all the habitats but nothing has changed does the mission add something or can i abandon it?.

I dont think the mission adds anything, as far as I can tell its just supposed to tell you where the island is(and give you access to the plants and blueprints there) and give you a bit of story.

The message us supposed to add a signal item that points to under the floating island. It doesn't give you direct coordinates, but about 700m down from the island.

IIRC the message origin is on the ocean floor not far from the island, but I don't recall it being at 700 meters - it's something closer to 300 meters, in an underwater cave.

The message itself hints at a landmass and where to find it.

And they missed a brilliant opportunity by not giving Keen the rank of Commander, but I guess that would have set off the Trademark Police.

I played the game fully multiple times (every update), in most of them I did not get the coordinates. At the last update (infected) I got it and it pointed to the floating island (not far from the teleport entrence...) but it dissapeared.
The coordinates look like any pod coordinates (a blue wave), you need to put it in the body slots left/right to the head slot (like the compass, therometer, etc.)
