Can't sleep in beds?
I scanned some beds in the Aurora, thinking it would allow me to sleep through the night. It appears that I cannot sleep... Is this a bug or not implemented yet? If it isn't implemented, I think it would be a cool feature.

You can't sleep as such. (Yet.)

You just have a slowed 'tick' on your H2O and nutrition meters while you're laying down.

At least that was how it was last time I played.

If they're not going to fix the light sources to actually work well, or have any kind of realistic gradient to how dark it gets - instead of being 100% inky-black-opaque right below the surface even in bright moonlight - having a way to skip the night will alleviate a lot of frustration. Once I no longer need to farm wild Peepers for food, night just basically is a "stop playing and stand still for a few minutes because you can't make any progress" mode unless I have work to do inside a base.

Think the narrow beds are still half-baked.

Worked last time I used one of the big types, though.

I don't remember which, but there is a bed that allows interaction, you just need the right type.

I get a distinct blue hue and visibilty at night when the moon is overhead, so maybe you need to check your graphic settings. There are some nights it's pitch black and I use my seamoth / seaglide's lights to operate by, and other nights where the moon is more than enough on its own.

Night is fun, lots of bioluminessant stuff. It's also a good time for wreck diving. If you absolutely can't see check your graphics, or head to a brighter biome. Forest, Grand reef and bloodvine biomes all have their own lights.
