Go to the Floating Island, it has some.

technically you can still build it without a blueprint. just select it in the habitat builder. i made several before finding the blueprints. all it says is that it doesnt know what is required to make it. it takes 6 titanium to make one.

Yeah, that happens. Not sure if fixed yet.

Yeah, I mean it's greyed out but still able to build without a blueprint acquired seems like a bug.

its not a blueprint, it just tells you how many titanium it needs. when i finally found one and scanned it it didnt say "new blueprint aquired" it just finally told me it takes 6 titanium.

Behind the Auora, hidden within a large, stationary cloud shape.

Yeah, but that's just odd.

you can find it via the massive floaters holding it up, but it has very little shoreline.

"Behind The Aurora" can be misleading; the floating island is near the tail end of the Aurora so from your lifepod you want to look west for some discoloured clouds or some sort of distortion in the distance. You can also find it by receiving the signal for Lifepod 19 after making and deploying a mobile vehicle bay, then by going to that lifepod and picking up one of the two PDA's there and receiving the signal for the floating island as a rendezvous point.

Climb up on top of your lifepod. Look toward the Aurora, then turn to your right until you see a cloud mass on the horizon that looks different from the normal clouds. That is the fog bank hiding the island. Once you know what it looks like, just keep swimming towards it.

As Vulpis says, it has little shoreline on the rim, so if you have the tank capacity and/or the seaglide, swim underneath it to the hole/lake in the center.

While you're there, be sure to scan the planter boxes and collect some melon seeds (destroy a melon with your knife) and at least one potato. You will probably get hungry/thirsty while you're there, but one of the common tree types has edible bark, so you don't have to pack rations if you think you'll need/want the inventory room.

#1 most common new player thread after "how do I kill things" is "why is there no MP room blueprint", but NOOOO, it's clearly "good for exploration" to artificially restrict a component that's super useful right away for Day 1 storage needs and makes sense and restricts your base building for a good chunk of the game. But we totally don't need it. Nope. That's totally why people keep asking for it, thinking it makes no sense and must be a bug.

Unlock the damned room already. People wouldn't keep posting about it if its absence made sense or wasn't jarring.
