You have to find the fragments to the battery recharger, and build it.

You can find there fragments in the kelp forest, grassy plateaus, and wrecks.

you can also keep the dead ones for when you need to make power cells, it fully recharges them!

see now I originally posted this but deleted when I re-read and saw "recharge"!

But I think you're right, OP might be having issues switching out batteries

Press 'R' ... facepalm. Well, it actually says so on the screen, but I only saw after coming back from this post :)

I bet someone will be angry as you digged up a 3 year old thread.
Yet you simply used the search function to find this thread didn't you?

Which is actually an appropriate way to use the forum.

Many peóple also moan about using the search function. And funnily these people often also moan about necroing a thread.
Pretty confusing isn't it? XD

The Steam search results are pretty lousy in general. Almost any search comes back with top results from 2015-2017, and I think that's why so many dead topics get bumped here. People actually are using the search tool properly, it's Steam's definition of "relevant" that's the problem.
