Benzene, I have no recipe for it!

Is this an issue with a bugged patch or is there something I need to do to get the benzene recipe?

I think first you need to get blood oil (and maybe scan it). Also maybe you need aerolite, i am not sure about that one.

Get some blood oil for it.

To get the Benzene blueprint, you have to collect Blood Oil straight from the plant. Collecting from the ground doesn't count for some reason.
