teleporting cyclops?
Is there either a command to teleport the cyclops, or some kind of god moe to move it freely with noclip?

I got some game glitch, Im stuck in my cyclops at 2700 meters down, I cant turn on the engine, and the cyclops is slowly breaking. I figured Id ask before letting it destruct and having to redo my whole cyclops and prawn setup.

You might be best off using this list;

Yeah, Im aware of all those commands, I just had a LOT of lockers full of stuff, and it will take forever to reset it up even with commands. I've never done creative mode, would that be easier?

Also, CORRECTON: I am in fact, 26 THOUSAND meters down. It takes a while for the cyclops to implode, btw.

Ok, before I do it, if I use commands to switch to creative and back, will it screw up the storyline?

Nevemind. I can do 'nocost' rebuild everything, then 'nocost' again to turn it off. Thats not too bad.

The reason that second URL link was provided was so that you could look through your lockers and take not of everything you have, then spawn everything back in after you've spawned in a second Cyclops.

Actually, if you were to switch to Creative Mode, you should keep your plot progress and be able to continue it after returning to Survival mode. The only way Creative mode will mess the plot up for you is if you try to continue the plot while in Creative mode.

I have no idea. I was at my lost river base, went to dock my prawn in the cyclops, and all of a sudden I was 26,000 meters down. The graphics were really unstable, too. I ened up just using the 'nocost' command to redo everything

Well you probably dont need help anymore but you can use "gamereset" command after you load your game and it should reset your cyclops position.

well, now I know not to save if that happens. Its happened a couple more times. Good to know about the gamereset though. How does that reset cyclops position?

I tried it it resets the entire game to the start. I do not recommend that since it clears bases as well.

That feeling when a necro is so helpful you get points for it. Thank you.

It does not! Everything dissapears for a few seconds but then in like 10 it spawns everything back in, including bases, containers, decorations, fish tanks and everything with their contents in it!

You can have problems with the gamereset command. If you're inside a vehicle and you saved there for instance.

The command doesn't reset your progress, it just reloads the world, bases, vehicles and scenes (the Aurora, the Cyclops are scenes).

Use entreset instead or better, the reload button in the large world debug panel in F1 (other tab).

That will only reload the batches the time you get out of the situation with the Cyclops.

I'm closing this thread if you want to discuss further please make another one.
