Many databoxes have already been collected

Most of the databoxes that I have been too, seem to already have been collected. I don't know why but...why?

I've been seeing the same thing. I suspect it's what happens when you've already collected the BP contained in that databox through some other means (like scanning fragments).

Or the same data box item in different wrecks that when open 1 opens all.
