Hi, pretty sure lost river doesn't extend that far east : it's almost entirely in the negative x values

first entrance I found is in the northern blood kelp zone, around -700, -500, 1100

There's a new entrance near the mountains and bulb zone areas.

Interesting, on stable build ? I pretty much explored the whole lost river zone 2 days ago, put beacons on every exit I found and none were even close to mountains.

Maybe I missed something, I checked the wiki afterwards and I know I missed a small base but the whole place looked very much like that map : http://subnautica.wikia.com/wiki/Mapping_Subnautica?file=Lr_map_whitebg3.png

If there's an entrance close to the mountains they must have extended the lost river zone too ?

I'm curious now :)

An entrance to the Lost River is found on the Bulb Zone's border with the Mountains. (from wiki)

Spoilers obviously:

It extends from Mountains/Bulb to behind Disease Research Facility

Cool ! Thanks to the both of you, will check this out. I didn't spend too much time near the DRF as I was pretty scared ^^

please let me know guys this place is perfect for a base as it lies in the perfect transitional ground for a base between surface and underground biomes

Jepp. There is a place with several thermal vents with very high temperature right next to a drop to the ILZ. Perfect for recharging the cyclops and a base. half way from entry to disease research facility.

there is also a very large entrance into the lava zone here, thats why i wanna move in

their are many places to access the lost river/lavazone from the surface, i've counted 4 so far

for starters, the anchor pods. those blue orbs that look like their tied down.
when you find the proposed degasi habitat @ 500m the entrance to the lost river is only 200m further into that cave branch and a little deeper.

second is in the (small) blood tree region where thier is a large wreck spanning between the cave walls.. just go straight down from that wreck and thats another entrance.

I find that one a easier fit for the cyclops. those anchor pods drive me nuts.

a third one is far into the koosh zone, a massive entrance.

there was a forth but I havent looked for it in a long time. many builds ago. was almost a straight drop down from say the front of the aurora, down a lava tube.

or was that off of one of the islands.. either way looked like i was droping into the void but didnt care really since the cyclops was invulnerable to leviathans at that time.

the lost river entry is near the bulb zone. at least it was for me. found this giant tear in the landscape and it went down to the lost river.
