Cyclops engine fragments? Where?

Hi everyone,

I have read around steam and subnautica forums about where to find the cyclops engine fragments. Everything pointed to mountains under mountain/gun island. I searched for the fragments for a fair chunk of time, both in my playthrough and a test creative world to try and find them, however, i found nothing. Anyone know where they are, maybe they were moving in recent updates.

Also I would like to point out that my game is *Stable. Not Experimental.

Anyone found the peices in their up-to-date game?

Where did you find them in the cave. My seamoth can still only go 200m?

they lay on the seafloor. go with your seemoth to 199m or so and make the rest with the seaglide. take a re-breather to keep your oxygen better

I've just seen engine fragments on the slopes of the mountain island, near the sea floor. There was a reaper leviathian there as well though

Along the edge of the island between 100 - 200 m (the island with the gun) , you only need a seaglide to get it but a seamoth would make life easy
Care for reaper tho , they have tunnels through the island i think so they can come out on any side
Just take food and water so you dont lose too much if you die

The mountain-area is actually "infested" with reaper leviathans. It's as if that's their breeding-ground.

You can also find them in the open cargo boxes inside the cargo bay of the Aurora wreck. Thats the room with the doorcode of 1454. Extremely RNG though. I've found anywhere from 0-5 engine fragments in that room.
This is usually the first place I look since its easy to seacrh and I only need to go elsewhere if there isnt enough fragments

There is patch of Reaper free mountainside under Sunbeam landing zone. They didn't want Reapers to interrupt Sunbeam storyline, I guess.
